We currently have a number of vacancies for Support Workers

• Rates of pay vary with rota chosen but will be between £ 6.22 and £ 6.82 depending on your flexibility

The role

You will provide a holistic service to people with a range of different needs.

This service could include any of the following; personal care, practical support within the home, gardening, befriending and shopping.

You will help people to fulfill their potential and encourage independence by helping people in a practical, emotional and advisory role.

The person

You will be a well motivated individual who enjoys being part of a team but can also work on your own initiative.

You will have an understanding and empathy with people that need support to live in and contribute to the community. You will enjoy a challenge and have the ability to remain calm in any situation.

Qualifications are not essential so long as you are committed to providing a customer focused service and can attend our training package.

Handyperson

We are looking for an 'as and when required' handyperson to help us with the seasonal demand for our services. You will need to have a car for use at work and have experience in gardening and small D.I.Y jobs around the home.

You must have a traceable work history and use of a car whilst at work. These posts are subject to CRB checks at the enhanced level.
